Uploading articles to WordPress is just another admin task that we could all do without. Well if you’re a user of CopySpace AI, you’ll be glad to know that it has a WordPress integration which allows you to publish your content directly to WordPress in a single click. If you’re anything like us, you’ll probably loathe the tedious task of copying and pasting into the WordPress editor. It’s time wasted that could be spent on our businesses!
Just log into CopySpace AI, and you’ll see a feature, aptly called ‘Publish’:
- Firstly, add your WordPress site (they will be adding other platforms in future).
- Name your WordPress blog and paste in the website address.
- When it comes to the user name and password, this isn’t the login password to your blog. You need to set up user credentials within WordPress admin under ’‘Users’.
- Go to your username and scroll down to application passwords. This is where you will set up the details CopySpace AI requires.
- Create a name and password and then paste the details into CopySpace AI.
The good news is that you can post articles to multiple WordPress sites by setting up the respective login details, as explained above. (At the time of writing there is no limit on the number of WordPress sites that you can add to CopySpace AI).
When uploading an article, you have access to all the different status options: publish, draft pending or private. CopySpace AI also uploads any images that you’ve added (these will appear inside your site’s media library). They’re hosted on your own server and embedded directly into your post.
One point to note: once you’ve uploaded your article, it’s good practice to make any additional changes or amends within WordPress itself. Don’t use CopySpace AI as a content management tool. There’s only one-way synchronisation so any changes made manually in WordPress will be overwritten if someone later makes edits within CopySpace AI. Best practice would be to only make further changes within WordPress to avoid losing any of your perfectly crafted edits.
The ability to upload to WordPress will shortly be added to CopySpace AI’s auto writer, along with the ability to auto publish blog posts and schedule when you want them to appear on your WordPress site. So, watch this space!
